Responsible AI in athletics
Ethics & Governance Center
The Hub is committed to leading responsible AI adoption in athletics. These principles are non-negotiable.
Athlete Privacy
Biometric and behavioral data is never shared without consent. Minors receive heightened protection by default.
Informed Consent
Athletes and families opt into every data system. Withdrawal is one tap away — and respected.
Bias & Fairness
Models are evaluated for bias across gender, race, sport, and ability. Audit results are public.
Surveillance Boundaries
AI augments leadership judgment. It does not surveil athletes, coaches, or families.
Youth Protection
All systems involving minors require enhanced consent, retention limits, and adult oversight.
Human-in-the-Loop
AI never sends external messages, makes safety calls, or finalizes discipline without a human.
Our governance commitments

- • Human-in-the-loop on every external communication, safety call, and disciplinary action.
